Post-COVID Syndrome Therapy
Do you have residual symptoms from COVID that have lasted for more than 12 weeks?
You may have Post-COVID Syndrome (PCS) or Post-Acute COVID Syndrome (PACS), which is commonly called ‘long COVID’ or ‘long haulers’. The Federal government estimates that 30% or more of COVID-19 survivors have long term health problems. These symptoms are many and inconsistent, and some may not have occurred during the initial illness. Currently, there is no test to diagnose if you have post-COVID syndrome. And, as of July 2021, post-COVID conditions can be considered a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
We create a unique plan of treatment for you because your experiences and concerns are unique.
A primary goal is to calm your overstimulated immune and nervous systems and to release tight tissues to flush out toxins which may be causing these common post-COVID symptoms:
- Anxiety or depression
- Fatigue that interferes with daily life (with even light exertion)
- Brain fog (difficulty thinking or concentrating)
- Cough or shortness of breath
- Chest pain
- Fast-beating or pounding heart
- Hair loss
- Headache
- Inflammation
- Joint or muscle pain
- Pin-and-needle feelings
- Sleep problems
