Magnetic Field Therapy
Get the Healing Power of Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields
Safe and gentle pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy is used to speed recovery of injured muscles, fractures and bone fusions. PEMF therapy increases lymphatic drainage and detoxification. It is used to decrease inflammation and symptoms of osteoarthritis, brain injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and depression.
PEFM assists the body’s natural healing by enhancing blood circulation, oxygenation, detoxification, nutrient absorption and energy production. You are treated while fully clothed. (PEMF therapy available only with Terri Rossi.)
Caution: Individuals who are pregnant or who have implantable medical devices with batteries (pacemakers, defibrillators, insulin pumps, etc) cannot use PEMF.
Can PEMF Therapy Help You?
Many people first heard of PEFM on the popular Dr. Oz show in 2011, but PEMF devices have been approved by the FDA to heal broken bones in US hospitals since the early 1980’s. PEMF has been prescribed since 2012 to treat severe depression.
Pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs) are traditionally known to be effective in the management of musculoskeletal problems when conventional medical treatments in humans and animals don’t work (Vavken et al., 2009; Huegel et al., 2018). PEMF was shown to be influential in the treatment of soft tissue injuries, such as tendon tears, rotator cuff tendonitis, and diabetic wounds (Goudarzi, et al., 2010; Greenough, 1996; Trock et al., 2003). Even though its mechanism of action is still partially elusive, PEMF has been successfully applied in the treatment of delayed healing in fractures, osteoporosis, and failed joint fusions (Trock et al., 2003; Markov, 2007b; Tucker et al., 2017). The PEMF is also known to improve vascularity, peripheral nerve regeneration, and grow new capillaries (Trock et al., 2003).
Dr. Pawluk, M.D., a Board Certified Family Physician and Holistic Health Practitioner and former Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is an authoritative source on PEMFs. He is author and consultant for the media and for numerous universities conducting PEMF research. Excerpted from Dr. Pawluck’s website, Dr. Pawluk states that PEMFs work to:
- Reduce pain, inflammation, effects of stress, and blood platelet adhesion.
- Improve energy, blood flow, blood and tissue oxygenation, sleep quality, blood pressure and cholesterol levels, uptake of nutrients, cellular detoxification and cellular regeneration.
- Improve lymphatic drainage, especially after surgeries, body contouring, and chemotherapy. It provides adjunctive therapy for lymphodema management.
- Balance the immune system and stimulate RNA and DNA production.
- Accelerate bone and capillary building and soft tissue and nerve repair.
- Relax muscles, ligaments and tendons.
